Children Learning to Farm: the "Cow Project" ! We were given 4 jersey dairy cows and one of them gave birth to a calf, “SUNSHINE”, so cute. Joel, Elijah, Noah and Asher are the cowboys who care for them, feeding, milking, treating for ticks etc. Quite an adventure to learn how to care for such big animals.
 Chickens are soon on the way as the Buckner’s just gave to help us begin raising 50 chicks per month for the cooking pot. Four of the kids are signed up to care for these. So we have many learning experiences all teaching us to love, care, nurture and manage finance.
